HIGHTLIGHTS

Shaping Seamless Experiences Through Design and Partnership

At Aiota, I was responsible for the end-to-end product design of our internal software solutions. This included building and maintaining a consistent design system, conducting user research, mapping user flows, and delivering both low- and high-fidelity prototypes. I worked closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure that our design vision was translated into seamless, scalable, and user-friendly digital products. My work focused on solving complex workflows through clean, intuitive interfaces tailored to real user needs.

My Role in the Project

As Design Lead and Project Manager, I was responsible for translating real-world challenges into practical, scalable design solutions—under tight deadlines. This project required rapid problem-solving, close collaboration with developers, and a structured design approach to deliver intuitive tools that users could rely on immediately.

  • At the beginning of the project, I focused on understanding what really mattered to the people using the product. By digging into their biggest frustrations and challenges, I was able to define clear problems we needed to solve. From there, I prioritized the work based on what would have the biggest impact—while still being realistic within our time and tech constraints. This helped the team stay focused, move fast, and make meaningful progress where it counted most.

  • Most of the applications I worked on were B2B tools—often used daily by professionals who needed fast, reliable, and accessible interfaces. My focus was on creating a modern, “fresh” visual language that felt clean and approachable without sacrificing clarity. I paid close attention to spacing, hierarchy, and contrast to ensure everything was easy to navigate and WCAG-friendly. By building a consistent and flexible UI system, I made sure every screen looked cohesive while still being highly functional for real-world use.

  • Clear communication with stakeholders was key to moving fast and building the right things. I worked closely with product owners, developers, and decision-makers to make sure everyone was aligned on goals, priorities, and timelines. I translated design decisions into practical terms, kept feedback loops short, and adapted quickly when priorities shifted. This helped create trust, avoid misunderstandings, and keep the momentum going throughout each project.

  • The final designs were successfully implemented and are now used daily by professionals in the field. The result was a cleaner, more efficient workflow for users—and fewer support issues for the business. Delivering a usable, accessible product on a short timeline proved the value of tight collaboration and focused design.

REFLECTIONS

Driving Impact Through Precision, Collaboration, and User-Centered Design

Most of the users we were designing for weren’t looking for something flashy. They needed tools that simply worked, that saved them time, and made their daily tasks a little easier.

Throughout the process, I tried to keep that in focus. It wasn’t about creating the “perfect” interface it was about listening, understanding real pain points, and responding with thoughtful, usable solutions. Often, small changes made the biggest difference.

What stood out most was the value of collaboration. Working closely with others developers, users, and stakeholders created a shared understanding of the problem we were solving. That alignment helped us build something practical, and hopefully, something that genuinely supports people in their work.

In the end, that’s what made the project meaningful: knowing that the work we did made someone’s day a bit smoother.
